Seeking talent unafraid to use every color in the crayon box, PASTEL gives voice to the fringes, empowers emerging and existing artists to create without restriction, and celebrates the color of creativity.

PAZZZTEL PREZZZENTER
James is a writer, producer, publisher, host, and arts professional. Originally from New Zealand's North Island, James relocated with family at a young age to Queensland, Australia, where he currently lives, and where he completed a BFA in Creative & Professional Writing, at the Queensland University of Technology.
James' work has been featured in a variety of local and international publications, and he has appeared by invitation in numerous guest roles on local panels, podcasts, and at related events. His dedication to uplifting his community and up-skilling emerging artists has seen James collaborate with Here We Queer, The Russo Test, Vivienne Coburn’s Canon Ball, and Ruckus Youth.
James aspires to T-bone the avenues of slam poetry and pop culture, and continues to do so via the age-old entertainment tropes of reality television, brought to life on-stage.

Inspired by early 2000's pop music and Gotham City in the 90's, Silver Stone shimmies her rubber nipples to the beat. Silver's style is high-energy, cake-shaking gyrating, giving you all the power of a Gotham City pop icon on a bedazzled hit-and-run. She can twirl in a boot to a rhythm, and clutch her pearls for a ballad; she'll give you carats of crystallised comedy and campery, whatever the track.

Born and bred in the river city, Phoebe is a Brisbane gal through-and-through. Currently studying a BFA in Creative and Professional Writing at QUT, and set to graduate next year, Phoebe is passionate about words of every kind - whether they be sung or read.
A massive 4zzz fan and volunteer, Phoebe is keen to champion Brisbane’s local music scene in any way, shape or form. Whether that be processing their music as a music department intern, or rocking up to a gig at The Zoo.
When not hugging a jacaranda, or downing a vodka-lime soda at Ric’s, Phoebe can be found indulging in her two greatest loves, good music and great writing.
